here's the thing:

You’ve climbed every ladder, checked every box. Years of grinding and now you’re here.

building your dream home

But yet - the vision stirring inside you is about creating profound impact,

not just collecting impressive resume lines.

let's dig into:

The Unspoken Truth

You’ve realized that to create the impact you envision, you have to redefine what success means for your life, versus what society has imposed on you.

Throughout the years of the monotonous wake up, work, go to bed, then rinse-and-repeat cycle, that gentle voice in your soul yearning for “something more” has increasingly gotten louder.

That gentle voice has progressed from whispering a need for surface-level, everyday routine type of change to shouting - begging you to drop your copy-paste existence to start leading status quo rejecting, industry-shifting, societal transformation, "bigger than you” type of change.

The type of change that will permanently reshape the ways in which we live, work and interact with one another in our ever-changing world.

Change that will echo for generations to come - permeating through our homes, in our schools, within our workplaces and throughout our communities.

Change that fills the world, and your world, with deep purpose, radiant creativity, and profound meaning.

And it all starts with your immediate decision to stop idea hoarding.

(idea hoarding = carefully guarding your most original thoughts instead of sharing them with the world)
Let's be honest about your idea hoarding

We both know you already have countless notebooks, post-its and phone notes overflowing with ideas of what this level of change might look like.

Your idea stockpiles hold solutions powerful enough to:

Disrupt industries
Inspire movements
Create entirely new business markets
Build a legacy
Create lasting impact across business and society
THE CLAUDE.AI TRANSLATION OF WHAT I JUST SAID:

You've turned your brain into the History Channel's next hit show: 'Idea Hoarders: Buried Alive Under Good Intentions.'

Each episode features another brilliant concept suffocating under the weight of its thousand untouched siblings while you swear 'someday' is coming.
or maybe your situation is the stark opposite:

You don't have tons of ideas stashed, instead, you feel your idea flow dried up ages ago.

Don't give up, and please trust me when I say that your innate ability to generate ideas never disappears.

It just needs to be reignited by reconnecting with your core purpose and letting yourself envision possibilities again.

On this site, we will dig into both of these idea scenarios and discover why neither is your fault.

It’s our life systems that are failing us - and it’s our ideas that will revive us.

From Idea to Impact

My life’s work is partnering with visionary individuals and companies to create your vision, select and develop your most impactful ideas, transform them into tangible concepts, and build them into reality.
Together, we convert your ideas into assets that generate continuous value and impact, bringing “someday” into the present.

Purpose Prototype

your personal design retreat

Instead of making vision boards (too big picture and unactionable) and rigid five-year plans (overwhelming action plans will make you take no action at all) - we should design purpose prototypes.  During this immersive, self-guided retreat, we will map out your unique path to impact, minus the pressure of getting everything "perfect." Think of it as a living, breathing vision blueprint for your most meaningful life—where you're the architect, and iteration is your creative fuel.

Concept Catalyst

a 30-day idea development sprint

This is where we turn your big, scary, "maybe I'm crazy but what if..." idea into a concrete, validated action plan. During this 30-day collaborative sprint, you’ll select your most promising idea from your visioning work (no more guessing which idea you should pursue), brainstorm transformational elements to deepen and strengthen your idea, and ultimately merge the most impactful elements into your final concept to implement after the sprint.

As Seen and Heard In:

I believe the most powerful thing we can do to effect change is NOT use our voices (like we've been taught), but execute our ideas.

Ideas are the currency of our era - but they can’t convert to tangible assets if they remain distant possibilities because of our inaction to implement.

There are many layers to what has gotten us to this place of inaction
, and most are centered around the substitution of creativity and critical thinking in our daily lives, with the assimilation to societal norms of what successful “adulting” looks like.
here's a glimpse into

How Adulting Killed Our Creativity
(And Our Ideas)

Taking It Back To Childhood

If we take it back to the beginning and think back to childhood, or even take a glimpse inside your own children’s world, what are the most highly prioritized activities?  Any and all things creativity and mind-stimulating tasks to help you learn to express themselves, develop independent thinking, and problem-solve.

Aging Through The School System

Then as you age through the school system, that emphasis on creativity and critical thinking rapidly fades, and in comes the rise of rote memorization to pass tests.  It’s also the stage in life where you are trying to find yourself, explore your personality, and understand where you fit in amongst your peers (the assimilation starts here).

Approaching Adulthood

As you enter into adulthood, you’re in a constant state of hands-on learning about life-skills, working to sustain yourself, and the realities of independent living.  Creativity stops being a core priority - surviving adulthood is.  When starting your first job, your immediate task is assimilating to their workplace culture - not being the fresh voice and perspective that the company is likely in desperate need of.  You are confined to the daily tasks of your cookie cutter job description, and coloring outside the lines of it to use your untapped talent is unwanted and some even consider it outright defiance (here’s where the creative recession starts).

Then, The Awakening Happens

As time moves on, in your personal life you scramble to find small ways to express your true self, in the short window of freedom (also known as weekends) that you have at the end of each week.
After years and years of unconscious creativity suppression and lack of play leaves us all wondering, “what is fun?”, “what do I even enjoy?”, “what are hobbies?”, what makes me “happy”?, “does everything have to be monetized”, we have an awakening that we don’t have to subscribe to what society tells us is normal and acceptable.

my period of wonder and awakening

I found myself in this exact period of wonder one year after I gave birth to my first child.

I'd had the successful career, several businesses, countless press features, all the traditional markers of success but still, I longed for more. I kept finding myself saying that "Yes, I have deep retail expertise and have generated, and managed, billions of dollars for different companies, but I actually want to help people, not just help them make money (It's a core part of my personality type I later learned).  I was longing deeply to make an impact on the areas in life I'm truly passionate about.

These feelings piled up and became serious for me when I opened the door to my beautifully curated office, sat down at my desk, and could not stop crying off and on for the entire 8 hours I was there.

I immediately found a therapist and went on a journey to learn myself again, reignite my creativity, redefine what success meant for me, build a vision around that success, and start taking tangible steps to execute that vision.

Another significant moment of wonder I had soon after, was when walking through the graveyard at my God-Dad’s burial.

While looking around at the tombstones, I wondered how many ideas never birthed were also buried along with these people -  ideas that could have fundamentally changed the way we live life today.

And next, I wondered how many of us are STILL LIVING in this same place of idea hoarding and inaction.

Hence why this company, The Visionry was birthed - to be a vehicle to empower other Visionaries, also passionate about making an impact, to execute their ideas -

because the collective difference we can make is far greater than what I can achieve alone.

your idea partner

The Visionry is designed to be your life-long visioning and idea management resource - making sure you never lose sight of the bigger picture of what your personalized success path is - and to constantly give you the tools and support to achieve and refresh it as it evolves over time.

I want you to know that doing the work described on this site is so critical that if you take your time to fully think through each step, the roadmap you will develop as a result will be life-changing, impact driven, and will give you the answers you’ve been searching for on how to best utilize your talent, skills and passion to create work and a life that is authentically meaningful.

And it’s all fueled by executing your ideas.

Consider this a psa:

We don't have to subscribe to:

traditional work formats

Working Nonstop Till Retirement

With only a few weeks of PTO per year), we're left with our health-declining years to “enjoy our life”, desperately wishing we'd done things differently and prioritized living.

One-size-fits-all Business Models

We don’t have to build a business model using the most popular service formats, using the most popular marketing tactics, that don’t feel aligned with the way we want to serve.

Copy + Paste Childhoods

Our kids don’t have to grow up in the same ways we did, be disciplined in the same ways we were, attending the same types of schools we did, with the same learning formats we had.

We have the ability, and quite frankly, the right, to design a life and work we love that aligns with who we authentically are.

We have it in our power to change the things in the world that have impacted us throughout our lifetime.

And it starts with our ideas.

it's time now.

Give yourself permission to put your ideas out into the world.

I’ve been where you’ve been, and honestly still idea-hoard myself at times.  The strength is in recognizing it and having the support to get through the creative droughts. This journey called life is ever-changing, just as we are ever-changing as humans.
We have to give ourselves the permission, and have the audacity, to never stop dreaming, ideating and executing our ideas until the world in front of us is our vision, actualized.
I want to partner with you to:
Reclaim your creativity
Refresh your vision for your life and the systems we live, work and connect with one another in
Build out your ideas on how to accomplish the above vision
Support you in executing your ideas that will reshape our ever-evolving world
